Barbados to revoke int. licences over laundering, corruption allegations
17 Oct 2017

Barbados minister of industry and international business, Donville Inniss has revealed that his ministry is in the process of revoking the licences of four international business companies, as he urged regulators who have concerns with any of their clients to have those concerns clarified quickly or “dump them”.

In an address to stakeholders in the sector attending a corporate trust and service providers seminar, the minister revealed that the licences of four companies would be revoked shortly, over allegations of money laundering, corrupt practices and defrauding citizens in foreign jurisdictions.

Inniss said a few companies have not been cooperating as they should.
